Feeling Guilty

I'm feeling bad that I haven't been keeping up with my blogging so here are a few pictures. We are still busy with getting the new house ready & packing! Thankfully we have a little more time before we need to move out of our current place!

Been Busy

Sorry that I haven't been on top of my blogging, but things have been a little busy for us! We have been spending our evenings & weekends at the new house, trying to get things done so we can move in! We are excited to have a 3 day weekend coming up so we can really get stuff done!

We have found that Addison loves to be outside and "go bye-bye"! She doesn't like to stay home. Usually going for a walk helps break up the day and gets her some fresh air, but lately it has been just to windy for that! And it's a cold wind! We want a real Spring, better yet bring on summer!

The Weekend

Saturday was a cool & rainy day. Which was a perfect day to work inside the new house and pack up at the twin home. Then of course Sunday was Mother's Day. Addison wasn't into taking pictures. On Sunday afternoon we headed out to the farm for Carter's Birthday Party! A Mother's Day pose of Grandma & the Grand kids! Instead of a birthday cake this guy had a birthday trifle. I was a little hesitant about not having cake & ice cream, but the brownie trifle was mighty good so I was appeased!

Sitting on the Deck

It was so nice out yesterday that we spent some time out on our deck before putting Addison to bed! Shortly after we went inside it started to rain. Daddy and his little girl!

House Update

Our twin home has sold and we will move into our new house before June 1st!

We are still working on things in the new place. The latest project is the cementing of the crawl space. The house doesn't have a basement, but rather a 4' crawl space with sand on the bottom. It was tiled today and soon will be cemented. I'm excited to have so much storage because that has been the big thing the twin home was lacking! Check this out: We have tulips growing by our new house! As you can tell there hasn't been any one tending to the flowers in awhile! I guess we'll see if I have a green thumb?

This 'n That

We have started to do some packing for the move and I came across the crystal headpiece that I wore for my wedding! I couldn't resist seeing how it would look on my little girl! It looked adorable just as I thought it would! She is now getting really good at getting on her hands and knees and will rock back and forth! We are hoping that crawling will soon follow! Playing the game, 'Where's the paci?' Do you see it?

10 months old

Hooray, Addison is now 10 months old!

It is so much fun watching her grow and learn new things! She loves to clap her hands, babble and scream in excitement! She is starting to enjoy laying on her stomach and playing a lot more and has gotten up on her knees a couple times - so we haven't given up hope on crawling! Her latest achievement is waving bye-bye! As you can see the snow has melted and it was fairly nice outside so we went to the park! She was laughing like crazy while in the swing! Addie also raced in the Kentucky Derby today! She didn't win, but gave her trusty steed a thank you lick!
