Well, after 3 years it's up! 'It' is the old door that I got at an antique shop 3 summers ago and refinished to use as our headboard.
The second part of this story is that we've been living in our current house for just about 1 year now and are just now starting to get the room situated.
So on Memorial Day the headboard was put in place. Take a look at our made up bed with our new bedding ... it may never look like this again (sorry mom)! Our room is far from being done, we could use new nightstands and the carpet will be replaced when we build our addition (next spring), but it's a start. I think I'll hang a picture on the wall tomorrow!
