The Happy Hippo Gym

Addison is starting to become aware of things around her so we thought it was the perfect time to bring out one of her baby gifts - The Happy Hippo Gym. (It's hard to tell in this picture, but there's a hippo face where her head is.) She really likes it and it keeps her entertained for quite awhile! Tired from all the playing!

This past Sunday Addison was Baptized. She looked so precious in her little dress! She started off doing well during the Baptism, but by the end she was crying. After the church service we had lunch at my parent's place with family & Addison's sponsors. It was a very special day!

There was a request to see pictures of Addison's room. Well here are a couple. We plan on hanging more things on the walls - more girly things. Since no one knew that we were having a girl we had to be careful with some of our nursery decorations at the beginning.

2 weeks old

Today Addison is 2 weeks old! This is how we found her in the crib this morning! She had started at the top of the wedgie, but she wiggled her way down! I've known for the past few month that she was quite the mover!

Yesterday we had her 2 week check up and she weighed in at a healthy 8 lbs. 5 oz. If this weight gain rate of hers continues then by time she's 3 she'll be 156 lbs.

We got a new chair for Addison to sit in when she's out in the living room with us! It's one of those great vibrating chairs that can also play music. Mike had it together right away and Addison was soon relaxing in style!

Addison's first official outing was to my parent's place to celebrate my nephew's birthday! For awhile we wondered if he and Addison would end up sharing a birthday, but she came in time to attend his party instead!

Meet Addison Grace

She's finally here!

Addison Grace was born July 3, 2007 at 12:09 pm. She weighed 7 lbs. 2 oz. and was 20" long. As you can see she was also born with lots of brown hair. She is simply wonderful and healthy!

We just got home today and thought we needed to hurry and get some pictures of her posted. Stay tuned, there will be many more pictures to come!
